Sourcing Clothes seen on TV/Movies

Hi everybody!

I am in the middle of a Sex & The City marathon, having just got the boxset

I have seen one piece of clothing in particular that I have fallen in love with, that Carrie wore in Season 6, and have tried endlessly to find it on the internet, but i'm coming up with nothing at all

What is the best way to find an outfit that you have seen on a TV show or a movie?

Any suggestions?

PLEASE don't post up a site telling us where to buy Carrie's clothes. I love her style(well 99% of it). I'll be in the poorhouse if I start ordering 'Carrie' clothes. Which outfit are you looking for Girrrrrseach?

Okay, this is very specific, and I feel a little silly

Its in Episode 14 of Season 6. Carrie, Charlotte and Sam are shopping for a present for Mirandas wedding - they are in a gift shop, Carrie is wearing this BEAUTIFUL pink, very long scarf, that doubles as a hood.

If there are any SATC fans out there who can help me source this, I will buy you a cosmopolitan one evening

I dont know that exact episode, but what you described sounds similar to a 'snood', a ''scarf and a hood'' combo, they were quite big this year,

In Gap about 2 years ago, except it had the long bits instead of being circular, if you know what I mean, so maybe check out gap?
