Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Route 70/a or 270 to Blanchardstown Centre. Route 239 from the Blanchardstown Centre to Finglas via Ballycoolen. Otherwise, all the way to Phibsborough and change to an 83 or preferably 40/a (not 40d) or 140.

If driving, something like the attached. Note roadworks at the two interchanges on the M50.

Make sure she does a dry run to find the place on St. Margaret's Road as it has 3 ends - Finglas, Ballymun and St. Margaret's village - under the end of the runway at Dublin Airport.

    Victor, there's a few problems:
Only selected trips on the 70 operate via Littlepace.
The 70A serves Littlepace, but not the Shopping Centre.
The 239 does not serve the Ballycoolin area.

I think the best option is the 270 from Littlepace to the Shopping Centre and a 220 from there to Finglas Village, if the walk to St. Margaret's Road isn't too long.

St margets road is a long road one end is off the North Road in Finglas the other end is off the Poppintree road so it wil depend where on it she is headed.

Here is the route the 220 takes and you can see where it runs close to st margets roads in several places.

OK - first of all scrap the above if using public transport (Sorry Victor!!).

From Littlepace, basically you need to get to the 220 bus to get to Finglas. The best thing is to walk into Huntstown/Hartstown and get it there, otherwise, you need to get a 70 from the N3 or 270 to Blanchardstown Village/Shopping Centre and take it from there. The 220 operates around Huntstown/Hartstown in an anti-clockwise loop going towards Finglas, so you need to be on the far side of the road.

Be careful as the 0725 and 1625 route 220 departures from Ladys Well does not serve the Blanchardstown Centre but goes via Clonsilla Road and Blanchardstown Village. Similarly the 0720, 0730, 0815 and 0830 departures on route 70 via Littlepace do not serve Blanchardstown Village but go via the N3.

The 220 will bring you to Finglas Village and as Thaedydal says can leave you at Jamestown Road which is not too far from St Margarets Road. Alternatively, from Finglas either the 83 from the Village or the 140 from the bus stop on the N2 opposite the village will take you to whichever end of St Margarets Road you are going to. Both operate every 10-15 minutes.

Timetables for all the above, along with google maps of the stops are at the following links.
