Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The more Weddings you do the easier the standard shots become leaving you with more time to get the really creative ones.

Good job on the shots above, I would watch some of the pp on 3 & 4. Just leave them standard

    # 1 & 3 are my favourites. Really like 3. Will you photoshop the exit sign out or do anything else with them? This where novices like me Fck things up sometimes by overdoing crops etc.

    Lovely set though.

Yeah will do on the exit sign, these are straight out of raw with nothing done to them only a bit of sharpening. Had to make a lot of compromises on the day due to the weather and the couple having enough of pictures. The more you do it the quicker/better you get at setting thing up.

    Thanks Leo

1, 2 & 4 for me Keith would be my favs. I love the detail shots.

They are fantastic and only sharpening applied.

Really like 3 too agree about the exit sign.

Just a couple of observations, the Champers photo is the ring on the correct finger (neg filpped;)) and theres something funny going on with the groom room shot, where you outside the room or through glass maybe?, also soom light flares and ghosting. Nice work though.

flare from the 85 f1.2L, if you shoot into light it bounces around inside. Champers shot not flipped, she must have moved the ring for the ceremony. I have tried removing the exit sign and its no hassle.

    Thanks for the comments

The champers, looks like the engagement ring. During the ceremony there should be nothing on the wedding finger so brides often put the engagement ring on the right hand.

Lovely shots as usual keith, any fisheye shots from high up,always wanted to do one of them but scared of heights :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,263 ✭✭✭✭Borderfox

Didnt use the fisheye that day, only thing to remember with it is that if its one foot above it looks miles away.
One thing I will say, I really like this time of year in terms of it getting dark early. I definitely thrive in low light, I suppose that what I am used to from the Horses.

    Thanks Hoganpoly

Very, very good job Simon, well done. I'll be honest, when I read your opening post, I thought this was a disaster waiting to happen, but from the shots you've shown here, you did an excellent job. Well done.
