I have the M1 and I purchased all the SPECTACT weapons as I noticed that I had a few kills on each (from inadvertently using them during game play) and brought those to gold.

I only recently got my 100 mine kills. I hated using mines. I will never lay a mine again. Enjoy completing that!

As for weapons to platinum:

As an engineer, try the AK-74U. Very nice weapon. Before the first patch, it was unstopable but they made it kick a little more now. Managed to get it platinumed first, before the patch but still a good weapon.

Medic: The SAW!!! If you have to kill everone in a room, except no subsitute Also the M60 (which I'm working on now), haven't used any of the others.

Recon: I loved the M24 (my favourite bolt rifle), has a lovely notched scope and as powerful as the M95. Use magnum for a guaranteed one shot kill. However, my favourite weapon in the entire game is the SUV fitted with magnum and a x4 scope. Think of it as a suppressed assault rifle and play aggressively with it and you'll soon learn how devastating it really is. Double tap kills at any range, ideal for flanking and keeping discrete.

the m60 used be dangerous but now since the patch is crap. the mg3 is by far the best LMS especially in CQB you can clear a room and still have ammo left over to defend a mcom and you dont really need a scopre on it because the iron sight doesnt get in the way. the best thing about the LMG's would be the fire power and ammo. recoil is bad but use burst fire at range.


recon use the m24 then the gol. 2 good guns pretty much the same all thats different is the scope.

engineer. pp2000 is the best one. if you use scopes on the guns in engineer, the ak 74u 4x scope takes up alot of the screen because its high up on the gun.
takes a bit of getting used to that.
if you like the pp use the xm8 c after it because there very similar.
but the pp is also brilliant at range. ask any of the wookies here. ive killed alot of them from serious range with it.

assault, dont use it much but when i do i use the xm8 p

Please note that we almost exclusively play hardcore mode (except for cheating wuss lw coward garv who broke the tag truce)

Yeah played Rush this morning, brilliant action in it Been readin about the Hardcore mode - removes the HUD and ammo counters and sets 1 shot kills? Sounds like fun to me.

You may laugh but I was seriously considering doing this for the 'Wheels of Hazard' pin (3 road kills). I spent several frustrating months chasing this pin to no avail and asking randomers (more so pleading) for help crossed my mind numerous times. I finally got it whilst using the UAV and taking advantage of bush wookies!
