I prefer the tritons myself, but turtle beaches are good too.

depends on your budget.

most of us have turtle beach x11s (wired) about €60

i have the px21s (wired) €67 in argos atm
moose has the turle beach x41s (wireless) €130


those are rough prices

Have the x41's gone down to €130??? That's awesome value for money!

Have to say that the x41's are brilliant with 7.1 surround sound, wireless, voice chat filtered back in through the headset to eliminate the feeling that your voice has disappeared.

However, I believe there's about to be a new King of the Wireless headsets about to be released. The Razer Chimaera 5.1, should retail for about €199.

Judging by the quality of the rest of the Razer stuff I bought in the last few weeks (Onza controller, Imperator gaming mouse, Vespula gaming mat, Nostromo gaming pad and Marauder gaming keyboard) the Chimaera's will be of outstanding quality.

Expect to pay about €199 for them.

I'd also recommend Tritton AX720's for around €200 and the Turtle Beach x11's for around €50.

To be honest, it doesn't really matter. Any headset you buy will improve your gaming experience. Decide how much you can justify on them and then buy the best for that amount of money. However, at least start with the Turtle Beach x11's as your starting point, they're the cheapest decent quality headset available. There's cheaper out there but if you can't justify or afford at least €50 then hold off till you can, it'll be worth the wait.

Jambo, I couldn't hear you earlier on when I joined your conquest match. Briefly heard your mic for a second, I think. Could have been the other guy in the party.

Did you see any of my flying knife attacks in that game? Picked up six tags on separate occasions while jumping and knifing the guys in the head as I was landing or flying past them. Pretty sure it would have looked epic!

The first one was an accident... the next five were because it was soooo much fun

i know how you feel

did my lcvp exam today

have my art practicals tomorrow and friday.

have engineering practical on either monday or tuesday

and Con Studies practical on thursday.

yea seen one of your flying knife attacks,came outa the sky and busted the knife threw a lad's head,not to far in front of me,frightened the bejasus outa me just about to fill ya with lead till i relised it was the moose in operation

also razor was on opposite team last night,came around a corner to see him landing on top of someone planting a knife in him as he crumpled in a heap on the ground

some epic stuff playing with you lads
