Actually none of us could get into the zone last night ( with the exception of M1JU)but as Dunworth said it was a good laugh.
We can now confirm the following.

Cableguy can't shoot for siht when being a Gunner.
A Rocket to the back of the head when your on the UAV will kill you, that right Shoveltooth.
Some very funny/unintentional comments last night.
The new map is very quick.
Korvi team killed me last night.

QFT. I go through all the trouble of running back to the first base, hijacking the apache when it lands to repair (taking out the pilot and gunner before it landed and dodging being shot at by the thing too).

Then cableguy spawns into the apache when I'm flying it, i figure I'm flying to low or fast to let him gun properly as I've noticed no kills. So I decide to hover (yes hover dead still in the same spot right dead centre over their base) and still he couldnt get anyone . But seeing as how I've finally managed to learn how to target the rockets on the apache when I'm piloting at least I got about 5 kills so not too bad.

Cableguy your gunner skillz are crazy good

hint: roll the gun the same way the choppers turning it helps alot LOL

I had an american flying the apache gunship yesterday with me as the gunner. He was crazy good at flying it. Very smooth and always seemed to have to nose up slightly to allow me to almost snipe with cannon. He also seemed to be moving sideways to the enemy base (smaller target maybe) in a circular pattern. Gotta say I was very impressed... right up to getting blown out of the sky

i was playing one day and we robber their apache and the guy driving it didnt know he had a gun but all he did was circle around. but that did work out good for me and got 30plus kills on port valdez with it.
the other team were just trying to shoot us down and because he wasnt using the big gun he wasnt tilting the nose down or anything like that, so it was smooth and slow.
they cudnt even get us with tracer darts in the end they used the self guided rpg whic failed bad.
we musta been playing fools thlugh because he was moving so slow it would be easy to shoot us down

Have to say I'm not the best at flying at all,have not really mastered it yet.
I have a suggestion though, Could we start a training night Get 8 or more to start a private game and go through hints and tips and pick each others Brains:)

Just a thought (Paddyvilla):)

Was playing with Miju and Dunworth yesterday, we were all sniping on top of a cliff and I saw our chopper getting stolen from the base behind us... I was like... "oh no, they've stolen our god damn chopper :mad:"... within five seconds the guy had managed to fly it into two cliffs and blow himself and a team mate up... my mood drastically improved by watching the worst ever pilot/thief in action!

You clearly weren't playing when i stole the chopper and tried to fly it and manage to fly the chopper upside . Garv still has nightmares about it.
Really was a WTF moment. Failed miserably

i remember one day raze was bout to fly the chopper and waited for 3 of us to get in on the lastbase of the valpereso and when he took off bout 10 feet up he hit the cliff behind him and killed us all:rolleyes:

That was ****ing gas. When you said that I turned around with pistol out waiting for them to shoot at us only to see him ping pong off two walls and blow up.

One of the bodies flew out beside me so even though I didnt kill him I decided he needed a teabagging for that epic fail.................i duly obliged

Though serious question, why does everyone find it so hard to fly the choppers? They are really simple to fly , particularly when you go low and fast

i find it grand. i always crash the blackhawk coz i bail outa it.
its when youre trynna use the gun driving the apache where i **** up some times. point the nose down for to long and hit sumthing trying to pull up.

well, had my first proper go of this tonight! steep learning curve, evident by ye all leaving the game when i joined!

Anyways went off and started to earn some xp and generally getting to grips with this. Lovin it so far!!

lets see the quickest ways i believe would be.

1. the simplest and best way just kill lots of people
2. getting pins and stars give load of points so i would check them out
3. put c4 on the mcom station as well as arming
4. blow up tanks and helis
5. place anti tank mines on the road
6. marksmen shots
7. dont team kill people this can lower your level

those are the quickest ways i can think of getting the most points but really if you just play the game properly you will level up fairly quick especially at the low ranks it gets harder as you rank up.

Garv team killed me three times last night the first was probably the worst/best. I had just joined and was not put in a squad and was running up to the last base and all of a sudden I commited suicide. Then garv said "Hey Cableguy did you not realise that there was no one in the chopper, I said I wasn't in the chopper. So it turns out that Garv flew the chopper and jumped out and then the chopper landed on top of me.
Should have realised then that it was going to be one of them nights.

i know we only left one game lastnight because for sum reason we were in a loop between arica harbour and port valdez for about 2 hours.
but no1 gets left out so dont be afraid to join any of us at any stage

ye laughed alot one day when i was in the apache and said theres the tank instead of the uav.
well guess what its and easy mistake, look tanks can fly too.

Have to say am really enjoying White Pass in Rush mode though it usually tends to be over quite quickly. Quick close range combat in buildings I like it

its a good map but theres a glitch though, you cant zoom in with the rockets because it becomes too bright and hazy and the same with the x12 scope. dont know about the origional scopes

Must be a hangover from the settings for the night level. Hopefully theyll fix it soon, at least theres no tanks to worry about taking down.

had a couple of great games with just me, cableguy and shoveltooth on a squad. must have been about 6 or 7 games in a row where we were seriously raping them getting scores of 3-4k each game before end of round bonuses.

best had to have been the 3 of us all carefully perched on top of the pylons sniping into the base. think we racked up about 100 kills between us on the last base alone.

This company make console modding stuff. Of interest might be the XFPS 360 adapter which allows the use of a mouse and keyboard with the 360. The PC FPS players reckon the accuracy of a mouse and keyboard is far superior to a controller. Having never played a FPS on PC I cant comment. Handily I can now blame my controller for my lack of accuracy!:D

Hey! managed to level up a bit and get the engineer and medic kit but heres the thing, they are not appearing in my kit selection. Nothing appears there, no options to select it.
Iv unlocked other weapons,pins etc fine.

Do you have to be a certain rank or something?
