Digitial cameras?

The mother is using an old piece of "technoogy" for a digital camera. I want to get her a decent one for Mothers day so looking for any good deals on digital cameras that might be on at the minute?
She only uses it for birthdays, family occasions and the likes so know need for anything to high spec.

How about this for cheap. http://www.aldi.ie/ie/html/offers/2827_12293.htmDon't know anything about the quality but the price is right and Aldi stuff is mostly fairly good with 3 year warranty as well.

Picked up a 10.2 megapixeln fuji digital camera for 80 notes yesterday in Argos. Was a very good deal I thoguht. Cheers for the replies.
