Yeah.. they do...

But you would be better off joining the Austrian Alpine Club... few of us will join the AAC for a two week trip to the Alps this summer.

If you just need S&R, then I would suggest you become a patron of REGA.
This is the crowd that does all the S&R work with helicopters in Switzerland.
30 Sfr or 20 Euro per year covers all the S&R charges and transport to the nearest hospital last time I checked (and then your health insurance should take over).
