    Journey??

Sorry, what? Why exactly do they have to go on a journey? If it's sob stories and bullshít you want head on over to the XFactor.

I have to agree. Feck this 'journey' nonsense. Abolish the word altogether.

Haha brilliant! I love him :D I'm so happy for him!

Yay go Brian! Love this guy.

Brian seems like the nicest person in there out of all the "Ultimates".

I genuinely think he deserved this win. When he's hyper he's an absolute nutjob and great entertainment. When he's calm, he's quite endearing and seems like a genuinely decent guy.

The win couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

    Well done to Brian!! :)

    "Never Forget" :)

I think he's a very humble person. I know people will say it's contrived or put on but I believe every iota of it.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,894 ✭✭✭Chinafoot

how the hell can you say he deserved it more than the others?
coz he stubbed his pinkie and spat water?

    c'mon, get real

    FACT

Yes, yes thats it exactly. All Brian did in there and in his series was stub his pinkie and spit water. I don't think it's me that needs to "get real" here.

Did you even see Brian's year? He's funny, witty, charming and great to watch. He's not spoilt, rude, he doesn't throw temper tantrums, he doesn't insult people. He's a nice person. How is that not "deserving"?

Indeed, reality TV has become all about 'the journey' so much so that they have started manufacturing 'the journey', Preston and Chantelle are a prime example, as were Josie and John James. You could smell the producers (and the tweeting audiences) desperation that, that 'storyline' worked out along the fairytale lines that they hoped it would, to the extent that people were prepared to ignore the rotten core of the relationship.
It is nice to see the nice guy finish first.
