    Disruption to rail services over signal fault

    Iarnród Éireann is warning of disruption on a number of services due to a signalling fault.

    Sligo to Dublin trains are cancelled, including Longford commuter services, although Maynooth commuter services are operating as normal. Bus transfers are being arranged for the Sligo line.

    The Clonsilla-Docklands services are cancelled, although trains are operating from Maynooth into Dublin. Northern commuter services, Dundalk/Drogheda to Dublin, including Dundalk to Dublin, on Belfast Enterprise are cancelled.

    Malahide DART services are cancelled but the Howth-Bray/Greystones trains are operating as normal. Dublin Bus is accepting valid rail tickets in north Dublin areas for passengers affecting by train disruption.

    UPDATE 08.30hrs Fri 12th March Due to a signalling telecomms fault, there is some disruption to Sligo line services:
    - Sligo/Dublin (incl Longford commuter): Sligo line services remain disrupted. The 07.00hrs Sligo to Dublin service will commence from Longford at 08.30hrs (15 minutes late). There will however be further disruption to morning Sligo line services due to earlier cancellations. Full service details will be updated as soon as possible.


    Earlier, services on the Northern commuter and Malahide DART line had also been suspended. However, these routes have now resumed, and are operating with some delays.
    We apologise for the inconvenience caused.


    AFAIK the DART/Northern Commuter services are running @ approx 15 min delays.
