    hi all
looking for some venues in waterford that would be suitable/interested in a show that has brazilian & west african percussion and dance. Its basically live dance music but we have found that in the past the venue and how open they and the possible clientele are to alternative music is important.

a late night live music/dance venue would be ideal.

    any suggestions

    thanks

Depends on the size of the crowd ye think ye will get tbh.
If i were ye id go for electric avenue- nice compact venue, always gets good crowds, great sound out of there too.
IMO the forum would be a bit big and open and would be hard to fill.

room 2 in Rubys. the basement bar in revolution. the loft in electric avenue also would be the best bet. maybe even the back bar in Ryan's pub.. make a post over here http://electric-circus.net/forum/ and someone will try help you out if they can.

    thanks all for that advice.
yea a smaller venue is always best. nothing worse than it feeling empty.
our music suits a smaller dance venue.

i'll suss out those links and venues.

this is our stuff if you are interested.
check out the live in dingle ( second vid down )

does this change where you would recommend ?
