Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this. I'm trying to win some brownie points with my boss. He's heading over to Switzerland soon and wants to be able to watch the Rugby (not into it myself, butI'm assuming there's some no this weekend?).

He has a laptop with a 3G card and is subscribed to sky player. What I'm wondering is, will sky player work for him abroad or is it set to only work from Irish IP's? And if that was the case is it possible to set up a proxy that'll trick the player into thinking it's in Ireland?

Sky player will not work outside of the UK & Ireland.

Only work around is perhaps to get yourself a virtual vpn.

He can set up a proxy (has he one already to get it in ROI?). Do a Google search for Identity Cloaker.

google 'iportal' who provide a very easy to use service and this can be purchased by the month ( 5 euros) although there is a discount for yearly subscription ( 50 euros)
