(going by the last 24 hours instead of just today specifically... hope that's not cheating :P)

1. Got chinese food and back rubs last night
2. Sorted my dads present for fathers day
3. Starting to get the hang of something difficult in work and have arranged to get more practice next week
4. No labwork today or tomorrow (although deskwork increases the chance of procrastinating on boards :P)
5. Going to visit my parents tonight

Okay this was somewhat tough to do alright, but here goes:

1) Family are all Happy & Healthy.
2) I'll be Graduating from University with a 1st Class Honours later this year after immense commitment; sacrifices & some tough years.
3) I am going to put more Trust & Faith in something that owns my Heart, eventhough it hurts!
4) I'm gradually making progress with a new sport I've started with alot of practice and dedication.
5) I'm an optimist at heart

1) Brand spanking new sheets on my bed and cosy pyjamas after a bath (feeling really ill today boo hiss boo!)
2) My flatmates. I live on the opposite side of the world from home and these guys have become my 2nd family, i'd be lost without them.
3) Planning my NYE in Edinburgh with my bestie!
4) Having 2 places to call home, both of which i adore and hold very close to my heart.
5) Being me. I love me sometimes. I annoy me sometimes too, but hey, im me!

2. Organised a quiz in the lunchroom which was great craic, even though I was worried no one would come.
3. My housemate, being lovely, heard me express an interest in rewatching a film and said "hell yeah, let's all watch it" so I get my choice of movie tonight instead of being too polite to ask.
4. My fiancee, who I was worried wasn't giving serious thought to the future and savings and such totally is and we're on the same page. Go him.
5. I have made appointments and plans and been organised all week. Like a real grownup! (I'm 29.)

My five things from the last week or so

1. Good friends who share the need to act like a kid and climb on rocks and get your clothes dirty sometimes, and go on adventures with you.
2. Realising you're totally competent at and on top of a task you used to find kind of overwhelming. Yay confidence!
3. Having wonderful friends who do things like sell their spare smartphone to you for very cheap.
4. I discovered 5AM Saint, which is the nicest beer I've ever had, by getting a Beer Bat at Against the Grain.
5. I got to play with a kitten and found someone who might be able to make an important item of clothing for me all on one visit to a friend's house. (Neither of these was the purpose of the visit!)
