Was talking about this with some mates yesterday, wondering where exactly it was made, we presume Dublin before the whole Docklands development or Cork but was wondering if anyone knows exact locations or the name of the bike club at 2:10. Great song and brings back some great memories.

Don't think its Dublin but I could be wrong. I'd imagine its London as that's where they were based and also he wasn't too fond of Dublin iirc. But they made some great records :

Thanks Bullpost, thats what we were talking about, just edited to say Cork, as iirc correctly thats where some of them were from. Other ideas were Glasgow.

Yeah they were a great band, good live band too as were Fatima Mansions.

Two main guys in the band, Cathal Coughlan and Sean O'Hagan were from Cork.
Think by time of that video they had relocated to London and rest of the band were British.
Sean O'Hagan went on to form the High Llamas who had a few good records , including an album called Gideon Gaye .

Definitely not Dublin. The tall concrete buildings at 1:16 aren't in Dublin.
Also the river looks very wide. Much wider than any river in Dublin.
Probably somewhere in England. I'd guess East London

At 1:32 there's a red London bus in the background. :D
