    Hi there

I'm looking to invest in a 37" tv and have been looking at the Philips 37PFL5604H - what do you make of this one?

    What else is on offer?

I'm not too pushed on NetTV as I have a PS3 that can provide me with all the internet browsing I need on my tv (I have a laptop and netbook for everything else...). I'm wondering is it worth my while throw an extra buck at a tv for the sake of the higher refresh rate and contrast ratio.....

    Thanks!

    Hi I Pity The Fool

The 37PFL5604H is a great introduction to the Philips range.
Its a pretty well spec'd LCD TV - 3x HDMI, 2x SCART, VGA, USB inputs.
    It's a 50Hz 1080p Full HD set with a 5ms response time.
It uses our Pixel Plus HD image processing.

All in all its a very good set for the money.

It's the only 37" Philips have available at this time - next size up is 42"

As you go up the rages you get better contrast ratios, 100Hz/200Hz, 3ms/1ms response times and more powerful image processing and a few other niceities such as Ambilight, Net TV etc.

I have the full range on display and will happily show you around them all if you call into the shop.

I'll pm you a price on the 37PFL5604H.

Thanks for taking the time to contact us.
    Cheers
    Ash

Prob a bit late for a reply to this, but if your around Dublin, I would pop in and have a look. The guys are a great help and hard to match price/service wise. I've bought, and am currently looking at more gear from them.
If not call them tommorow, you cant go wrong ;)
