Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,
Is anyone on this forum feeding molasses? How is it delivered and stored? Also, what are the advantages of feeding molasses? Protein? Energy? Can it be fed without using a diet feeder?
    TIA

usually fed molasses, didn't this year, as it was to dear think it was around e170/t last autumn, needs to be priced around e120 or so to justify it, unless silage is poor then its worth a bit more very good if ration ME is low
it high in energy and low in protein, fed up to 1kg head, think you can more or less sub it for a kilo of meal
it comes in an arctic tanker, with 10t compartments, our tank only hold 7t and it is very hard to get them to split compartments
would probably be difficult to feed with out diet feeder but that depends on volume used and your own set up
