it may well have been a cross, or even just one of those where you throw it up there knowing it might go in or someone might get on the end of it

The defender on the line who let the ball go over his head made a mistake. If ever a case for jumping up and catching the ball on the goal-line is justified that was it. Into injury time, your team 1 up and you have the chance to stop a goal well hell ya grab that ball, get sent off and concede the penalty. The form that Gordon was in today, who knows but at least take that chance. I'm not blaming the defender too much as it would have happened so fast but something to think about.

Am I the only one who thinks that was an attempted cross to Lescott at the back post?
Thought the same myself on the replay.

beforehand you'd have considered that 2 points dropped by City.

after that abomination of a first half, City may well consider that a point gained.

    Adam Johnson looks some player.

Mancini better not start putting him on from the start ;)

thats really the only way to look at it imo. with the players hes got at his disposal theres absolutely no reason at all that they shouldnt have it wrapped up

this is what happens when you put an uber defensive italian in charge of one of the most impressive groups of attacking players ever built in england

    that said, its still funny
