Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wiped 1TB disc by accident!

    Right so I fvcked up big time. Photos movies and data gone. No backup, actually I was making a backup when I wiped it, how ironic!

    I have tried a few bit of software and I can recover the data but all the 65% of the filenames are gibberish.

    Can anyone suggest free recovery software that works please?

    You can also try:

    Recover My Files
    PhotoRec (Free and very good)

    There are plenty of apps out there. So long as your disk aint fecked and you didn't overwrite anything I'd say your got a very good chance of getting near 100% of it back!

    Got everything back.

    50% filenames gone but that doesnt really matter on the photos. Can sort them by thumbnail and drag into folders.

    Films and TV shows are another story.

    I used Recuva, thanks for the help...:D
