    Metroid Prime on the GC - bought the console on the strength of the reviews and just didn't like it all.

    GTA IV - most over hyped game ever. Absolute rubbish.

    MGS4 - too many cutscenes about stuff I just didn't understand.

    Halo 1, 2 and 3 coz they're all unadulterated sh1te. Please don't anyone try to defend this by telling me about the outstanding storyline, level design, characters or gameplay. I've played them right to the end. They're all sh1te.

    GTAIV coz it's too much like real life. If you're listening Rockstar, bigger is not always better. Stick to the stealing cars and shooting people. Less of the socialising. Darts anyone? Spare me.

    Modern Warfare 2. Where do you start with this drivel?

    I'm a big GTA fan, but I just found IV to be a chore.

    I can also understand people's gripes with MGS4 - I liked it, but only because I hadn't paid much for it and I looked at it for what it was - an end to the story of Solid Snake.

    I was a big ISS Pro evolution fan back in 98, but everything since then has been a total farce - they're actually robbing people's money for a WORSE game. Like, we're 12 years later - TWELVE FÚCKING YEARS - and they still can't get the AI for keepers or the players that you don't control correct? Same with FIFA - unbelievably shocking lack of progress on both projects. Sure FIFA eventually gave up and just bought the Pro Evo game engine a few years back, pathetic.

    All you get these days with both games is graphics updates and with fifa, player db updates - well whup dee doo. €45 euro for that? No thanks.

    Nope im completely cereal. And I'm perfectly fine lol thats just my opinion and im fully entitled to it :D

    Ah GTA IV...what a disaster. Ive come to the conclusion that what made those games so strong was that you could just jump in and mess around for an hour before heading to the pub or whatever but along comes the phone calls... The game got far too serious for its own good. We need another Vice City although i think its done a lot more damage then just a return to basics is going to fix.

    Also *tentatively presses keys* Gran Turismo...? I may be the wrong target audience for those games but if i spend the game getting enough money to buy an Aston Martin and drive it into a wall i want the ****ing thing to turn inside out not gently run along the wall and pop me back out on the track without a scratch and 6 places behind!

    EDIT: Youve probably gathered from my proclivity to finish a race in a large explosion that i find racing games boring to begin with so im definitely the wrong target audience.

    Damage modelling and effect on performance I'm not bothered with as, more often than not, it would be the AI opponents that are responsible for wrecking my vehicle. Until driver AI is improved, I don't feel guilty leaving 'damage simulation' set to off in games of that type. It's a shame as it would be nice to be rewarded for being careful.

    By the by, Aston Martins aren't designed for turning at speed. They can be twice the weight of other cars in the game. They are better suited to those looking to enjoy the sailing experience on dry land. :D

    Dragon Age: Origins is my current one. Too tactical/fiddly and the difficulty on normal is a touch too hard to be fun and it's a touch too easy on easy to be fun so there's no comfortable in between spot. Boo urns.

    As far as I know, a few years back fifa bought the game engine for one of the early ISS Pro Evolution/PES games. Todays fifa games are built on top of that engine - I played fifa09 and I was executing plays that I remember from the old games, despite the fact I hadn't read that much of the manual bar the essentials.

    Pro evo is miles away from that old engine which explains why they're totally different games to play.

    Yeah that was a really hard one. I tried it on Veteran but to no avail. So i just done it on Casual
