Upper Baggot Street to RDS

Hi, any info people can provide for me here is much appreciated.

Im coming up the country for a interview in upper baggots street just by the baggot street bridge, i gota get over to the RDS right after that and was wondering what is best to get from that area in baggots st to rds??

any info people can offer would be great like bus number, frequency etc???

10 to donnybrook church and walk down. every 10 mins, 10 min walk.

walk down the canal to Merrion Sq/road that leads off it and get a 7/45/8/4/4a, every 5 mins combined, 30 second walk to RDS

Walk along Pembroke Road - 20 minutes max.

They are relatively close to each other. You can walk it in 15 minutes - assuming you are going to the main entrance to the RDS. Add more time for RDS Simmonscourt.

Upper Baggot Street is only from the canal to Waterloo Road.

You can get the number 18 from Waterloo Road at Xtravision to opposite the RDS. You want to get it heading towards Sandymount.

All good advice above, but if you end up stuck for time, jump in a taxi. There are usually taxis near the Spar shop on Upper Baggot St. I'd say it will cost you between 5 and 10 euros.

Make sure you know exactly where in the RDS you are trying to get to. There are a few different parts to it and it can be confusing.

I must point out that the 18 bus only runs every 15 to 30 minutes during much of a given workday. It's quite likely that walking would be quicker than waiting for that bus.

If you don't have time to walk you don't have time to get a bus. You'll get a taxi.
