Limerick Band Parade

The Band Parade was a lot better this year than last year when only 6 Bands showed up and they rationed out the show and sent them down O'Connell St. in 15 minute intervals to stretch it all out. Says here that 30,000 attended but where we were the streets were surprisingly empty? - I don't think there was even one US Band…

- I don't think there was even one US Band this year which was a pity as they usually were a spectacle....

There was a very disappointing turn out alright I remember when there was 25+ bands competing. I guess the recession has hit everywhere..
