Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have noticed that the Weir Tea Rooms cafe in Lucan village has been closed for the past month or so. I'm really surprised as its easily the best cafe I have visited in the village and was always pretty packed with customers.

Does anyone know what the story is?

    cheers

I'd say its to do with there being 3 cafes in such close proximity to each other.

The weir tea rooms owe me wages from when they closed and a load of suppliers they complety screwed us. Bounced cheques etc so unfair during a recession to screw up the normal people

I have been into the new Tea Rooms a couple of times and it is very good.
I spoke with the owner and he has nothing to do with the old management.
No connection with then but I wish them well as it is not easy in this climate.
