All things wend to their inevitable conclusion, and in news that will be heartbreaking for their tens of fans the fuzzy pyscedelic folk rock dust ball that is the bastard rain has decided to call it a day.
Before separating due to a variety of temporal and spatial concerns, the bastard rain will be playing one final show at the thomas house, thomas st, dublin 2. Joining them in their funerary rites will be, George Worrall, I "heart" The Monster Hero, and Mia Sparrow.

Release of DLR007; ''Maracas at Dawn!!! - a Bastard Rain Miscellany'' on Drunken Lust Records.
For the listening pleasure/displeasure of their fans, the bastard rain have released a complilation of live tracks, demos and bastard marginallia. This 12 track album will be available freely to download on www.drunkenlustrecords.com from the 27th of march, and limited copies of a souvenier package of the album will be available to early comers at the Thomas House gig.
