AFAIK that is all...I got Bioshock 2 and Dantes Inferno...Going to pick up Darksiders on 360 and Bayonetta on PS3 today hopefully...Also getting Bioshock 2 and Darksiders for my mate on PS3...Hopefully they may have added a new game as I already had Darksiders although it was a brilliant game I would like a different one..

That deal with xtra-vision I am pretty sure if you traded in Bioshock and Dantes in GAME you would get more than 50euro for them, but I may be wrong...If you could it would be better deal going to GAME xtra-vision just try making there deals look well, but really they aint good at all..

Just thought I'd post it. I have no interest in DI or Bio2 but if I could trade say Mirror's Edge, Fifa 09 or Little Big Planet for those two and then trade for God of War 3 then I'd do it.

Although by the time I can get to a Gamestop I'd say the offers will be finished

Yeah I am going in with Little Big Planet in a while so I won't know till then...I think it all depends on what shop...

If you do get them 2 games ring GAME and get trade in value up against God of War...I am trading in Heavy Rain today up against God of War I think I am getting 31euro for Heavy Rain..

Just traded in Stranglehold & GT5 Prologue for Bioshock 2 & Darksiders (both PS3).

I would have got bayonetta but seemingly it was a well shoddy port and dante's inferno starts of well but goes downhill from the middle onwards.

You can get GOW for €5 when you trade in heavy rain in gamestop.

Really down to the manager, and how much you as the customer are willing to "negotiate". I did the same thing, spent 40 euro on 3 games and did a swap for 150
But I was taking a piece of hardware off them as the swap, I've wanted it for a while and it's not exactly flying off the shelf! Cashier asked manager for me and he said ya grand, prob wanted to shift the product I was swapping for, be much easier for him to resell the games I gave back in!

Just back from the Bray Gamestop, i traded Fight Night Round 4 for Bioshock 2 (360). The only other games available seemed to be Bioshock 2, Bayonetta, Dantes Inferno and Guitar Hero Van Halen.

I dont even really want Bioshock 2 but this deal is actually too good to turn down.

I just traded in Rainbow Six Vegas and Wartech for Dante's Inferno and Darksiders.

I honestly believe my dad can(and has!) exchange anything without a receipt anywhere...of course he won't leave until he does, I personally wouldn't do it, can be embarrasing sometimes!

I remember back in the days when I was buying my first playstation how he haggled the one in Smythes toys and got like 70 pounds off

ps, if you really want, Sundays & late evenings are best to try, usually the trainee managers get shafted those shifts, they crack easier under pressure

HMV on Cruises Street have obviously copped onto this.

Bayonetta and Darksiders are both 22.99

I was in Stephen's Green there today.
I traded in Mercenaries 2 (which I had bought for €10 well over a year ago......what a sh1t game.) which scanned on their system that I was to get €3 for my trade in!!! But I ended up paying €5 for Bayonetta. Was tempted to trade it in GAME down the road and make a profit out of it!!

While I was being served in Gamestop, the lady who was serving me was told by the manager (i think) that they were to only accept games that had a trade in value of €15 or more. Glad I went in today and grabbed this before thay 'moved the goalposts'.

What a great offer. Tis a shame that more people won't be able to avail of it now. But by the length of this thread, it appears that loads of us already have

Got 3.50 trade in value for LBP, 4.50 for N4S and 1.50 for Unreal Tournament 3 lol...No hastle so it really must depend on the store...

In Galway anyway games must have a resell value of 14.99. Guy in there reckons the offer won't last long. On xbox anyway they only have Bioshock 2, GH VanHalen and Dante's Inferno left. Traded in Call of Duty 3 and some Spyro game for GHVH and Dante's Inferno.

Used this today to trade in RE5, put the €29 credit I got for B2 towards Final Fantasy XIII, but might offload a few other games tomorrow for a nice credit balance...

Dante's Inferno would have got me 23 euro in HMV today, Darkriders was 14.
But I kept the two and glad I did, Darkriders is great fun

HMV store credit for the following from what I can remember:

Guitar hero Van halen - €33
Bioshock 2 - €29
Dante's Inferno - €23
Darksiders - €16
Bayonetta - not accepted because it's on sale.

Well after my fun in Game this morning I must add that the staff were fully aware of the gamestop offer. They thought it was a win win situation..Lots of people where buying old games in their pre-owned section and trading them in at gamestop for the newer titles.

I have to say though I am more encouraged to buy something in Gamestop at full price next time due to the offer so maybe it's one of them loss leader deals.

Perhaps we should compile a list of games which can be gotten cheap in Game/HMV/Xtravision and that Gamestop will accept for trade in on the offer.

I was told today the other day by a member of staff that Fracture is not being accepted even though it is onsale in store for 14.99 and as such it should be included as per the guidelines.

I traded in Ridge racer 7, alone in the dark, wheelman and the us edition of unreal tournament 3 ( they never accepted it before andthe barcode didnt register so he put it in as ut2, i met a good one ) in the Gamestop in Blackpool. I got Bioshock 2, Ghostbusters, Dark void and Dantes Inferno. They didnt have Darsiders so i went into Patrick street and used the Orange Box to get that. The difference between the stores was that Patrick Str. had a required €15 minimum trade in value on its games, blackpool hadnt and accepted any game( ut3 and ridge racer 7 had a total trade in value of €3 and i got €100 worth of games , doesnt make sense)

Probably €20 each cash or €28 each trade-up. Ring your local XV and ask them and they can check it up on the system.

thats all trade up/credit..youd get 20 cash for bioshock..dunno about the rest though
