Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Flying ex Dublin. Air France staff don't seem to know what US immigration is!

Paris is connecting flight, ie won't be leaving the airport.

Can anyone tell me is the immigration stuff done in Dublin, Paris, or NYC?

    It should be Paris.

New York I think. I thought only Ireland in Europe has US immigration at its airports... Flew Dublin - LA via Heathrow and had to do immigration in LA.

Yeah you do it in New York. You can only do it in Dublin if you're on a designated US flight that is pre-clearance enabled. Paris doesn't have US Pre-Clearance facilities, so you do it on arrival into NYC.

You may be subjected to security / immigration type questioning before boarding.

I was under impression that Ireland and Canada were the only countries in the World to have US immigration..

Obviously the US has it as well :D (it's just not called preclearance there!)

Preclearance facilities are also present in Bermuda, The Bahamas and Aruba.
