This Bank holiday August weekend will see another Harbour festival in Rush and it will be bigger and better than the previous with a new programme.

Lots for kids to do over the weekend with amusements etc and fun events on the beach. The festival opens on the Bank holiday Friday after a parade from the square. There is a very good comedy night with some top comedians taking to the stage.

Brendan Bowyer and his show band play the Marquee on Saturday night with his daughter Aisling. There is The Haven pharmacy 5 mile run, Blessing of the boats, Mayors tea dance with the brilliant Fran and Mary from "stage 2".

This year also features an Air show a first for the festival with a fly by and some stunts.

Forecast is looking ok for the Rush harbour festival this weekend.

Big anticipation for the Air show.

Ticket are selling really well for the Comedy night and the Brendan Bowyer show with I believe only a handful left

There is a caravan selling tickets for these shows on Main street and lots of free events also for children and a massive craft fair each day.
