Milk is a newly formed pop-rock four-piece that has burst onto the Dublin music scene. Their sound combines catchy pop hooks with stellar blues guitar playing, smooth bass lines and hypnotic drum beats. Despite only forming in March 2009, their reputation as must-see live performers is rapidly spreading. This comes as no surprise considering the four have collectively played some of Ireland's most popular music venues; Eamon Dorans, The Mezz, Whelans and Cypress Avenue. On Weak in the Knees Milk confidently employs the song-writing craft they have honed for years as solo performers and members of various outfits. The result is an infectious groove-based tune deserving of some serious airplay. With influences ranging from blues guitar gods like BB King and Eric Clapton to mainstream singer-songwriters like James Morrison and John Mayer this is intelligent pop music at its best.
