Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Renault Master Starter Problem

Hopefully someone can help me with this. We have a 2007 Renault Master, recently we've been having problems with the starter. It began last week when occasionally you'd only hear a click when turning the key fully, it might do it once or more again before actually working. As the week went on the problem got worse and it began to refuse to self-start, by rocking the van in 2nd gear or leaving it on a hill you could get the starter out of what seemed to be a bad spot and it'd work perfectly before doing it again. We got the starter taken off and reconditioned on Saturday but the problem has cropped up again today. Any ideas ??

Take the starter back to where you got it reconditioned or
    replaced with another one.
Had a similar problem with a starter motor, only lasted 2months!
Ended up getting one from a scrapyard lasted 4years on the car.

Ya bring the starter bak to where you got it reconditioned. It should work fine after it has been reconditioned and not be acting the mick like it is now!

Don't know where it was reconditioned as the mechanic got it done himself. The funny thing is when the starter works it works 100%, I've a feeling it could be some sort of electrical problem. Would the solenoid be changed when the starter is reconditioned ?
