Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Free Lowepro Compact Carry Case

    I was in work the other day and a customer came in with an ancient Sony compact to see if it could be repaired, it couldn't and so he asked us to dispose of his camera for him. My colleague threw it into the pile of gear for WEE recycling but I noticed the case as he did.

    Turns out that it's a Lowepro D-Res8 carry case and it is in excellent condition. It looks brand new apart from one small mark at the top of the case. It looks like it will take most compacts with ease, with space for memory cards/batteries. It has a belt clip or you can throw it over your shoulder. It really is in top notch condtion.

    Anywhoo I saw no reason the case should end up in the bin, it has many more years of life left in it. I don't have a compact myself so have no need for it. I'd like to give this to a forum regular. I'm based on the Navan Road but work in the city centre Monday-Friday so can meet around Parnell street if it suits.

    Mods what's the best way to give this away here? I realize it's only a compact case and not the most desireable Lowepro product but something for free is always good.
