Everyone seems to love Terre D'Hermes - I've tried it a couple of times and just didn't like it.

I love One Million by Paco Rabanne, everyone and their father seemed to be wearing it this time last year but not too many use it anymore thankfully.

    I love it.

How are the two Creeds you got recently working out for you?

The GIT is savage. The MI not so much, it lacks strength when compared to the other creeds.

Never particularly enamored with GIT. It reminds me of air freshener. :pac: MI on the other hand has been referred to as a "panty dropper". Do you get many compliments with it?

Hard to top the GIT in fairness. Brilliance bottled.

Will be looking for something new this Christmas, time to start sampling a few.

Hoping to get a bottle of 212 NYC soon enough

Anybody have any particular fragrances they'd recommend for the winter season? Lacoste Red always seems to remind me of Christmas for some reason, seems like a festive scent

There's a new(ish) Issey Miyake out there called Intense - got a whiff of it in an airport recently and thought it would be a good winter one.

I've always been an IM fan anyway so i could have a slightly biased nose ;)

    I use ebay.

    Thanks man.

I had a look earlier and picked up a 3ml sample of Creed Aventus off there for around a tenner. That said, I'm not sure if that's a good price or not! What sort of price should one be paying for a sample of that size?

Aye, €10 is a tad steep for a 3ml sample. I bought Silver Mountain Water and Millesime Imperial for around 2.50 each. I usually pay no more than €3 for a 2ml sample. After all you can get free samples from any official Creed seller, ie. Arnotts, etc.

Even though it is American, I've used www.myperfumesamples.com and can recommend them - got 10x 1ml vials for about 25 euro.

    I have both.

The Nero Portofino is great but some people don't like neroli.

Is the Oud Wood in anyway similar to the Royal Aud?

Divine's L'homme de coeur would be favourite overall.

During the day I like Acca Kappa's White Moss.

Others that are nice would be Clive Christian's X for men, and No. 1
and Creeds Mountain Water and Erolfa.
