Have a look at the VOIP forum for other peoples opinions.
I've been with Blueface for 5 years. At the start there were a few hiccups, but they have been fine for years. I'm on the basic package - €99 per year including 300 free minutes per month to any landline in the civilised world. Blueface is a full service alternative for having a local number landline - Skype is just a way to make cheap calls
