I took six shots of Packie, camera held high chopped his head in them all....I was very upset over this.

Great shots all round, I spent two days with the Garda Mounted Unit in the run up to the Parade so currently floggin these as we speak.

Could have got some great shots because I was close but I stupidly only brought the 70-200 with me because I didn't think I'd get a good spot.

Well I had 2 lens in my bag, 24-105L and 70-200L f4 but I put very little effort into finding a spot.

Bottom line is I find it hard to put time and effort into Photographing stuff I'm not mad into....I didn't even bother with last year's parade.
I think I would have more interest if I lived in a little town....

I liked 1st drum shot the best btw.

I only tried to get a good spot because I had my son with me so he wanted to see. Holding him up and trying to shoot was a pain in the ass...

Excellent quality, higher end cams really do deliver. i had to process the **** out of mine to get them sharper and more colourful, they come off my cam very washy, soft and flat.

For the people that noticed, Yes this second batch have been edited slightly, Sadly I hit the exposure dial with my thumb while shooting and it dropped to -2/3 so had to do a bit of PP
