Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is it me or does the new Merc just look bulky and slow.
It doesnt look as neat and tidy as the Red Bull or Ferrari, particularly at the back and above the drivers head.
    Am I talkin crap?

The grey colour sceme makes it hard to see the fine details of the car. It also blends in with the road surface making it look crap on televison. The Brawn car didn't look great either last year with the lack of sponsors. But that was irrelevant when it came to racing and it could be the same with Mercedes this year. We will have to wait and see.

All the cars (except maybe the Williams) this year are visibly bulkier.

    It's the bigger fuel tanks.

Do think the nose is a bit fatter, dont like the look of the fin back to the middle of the rear wing. But dont like all the white on the ferrari. Would kind of miss the brawn and renault colours from last year, but guess after one or two more races is will all look more familiar

The car is good bit longer this year in comparison to last years cars. This is pretty much due to the large fuel tanks onboard this year.

The fin is a touchy subject as other teams are advising its illegal but its been ruled ok. It creates some pocket of air which is helping the aerodynamics of the car.

I think that's the McLaren you're thinking of.
