Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Bought a 2002 Nissian almera hatchback.
    Everything is grand, except for two things. Driving along and i hear this sqeeking, from the front right of the car, when i hit the brake or tap the brake it goes. Guessing its from the front wheel??

    Second. when i put the car in nutural the middle of the steering wheel starts to vibrate. When i drive it is fine??

    Any help with what could be causeing these problems?

    first one could be worn brake pads, the second one is a mystery

    First one is deffo brake pads needing to be replaced, second one is a mystery to me also.

    Second one might be a slightly low tickover, why I dunno, not too serious.
    Or possible worn engine mounts.
    A third possiblity is this is normal for this car - depends how severe!
    (and is it diesel?)

    Could be the CV joint or wheel bearing?

    No idea, bring back to dealer if its still in warranty....

    Il check the pads in the morning but thought there was a good bit left on them.

    I probably will have to go to the dealer for the vibrating wheel.
    Dunno how there is even a connect between netural gear and the middle of the steering wheel?
