hi all , just wondering what sort of financial background checks banks do? for instance do banks have access to your revenue records? or even social welfare records? thanks

THEY have acess to your credit rating, and prbly can tell you have a loan for a car etc.SOCIAL welfare does not give out info to banks, unless theres a fraud court case ,something like that. The revenue can get info from welfare ,or banks in order to make sure someone is declaring their correct income, and pay dirt ,tax on interest.
