Partsfinder is a good start, saves a bit of running around.

Pull the switch and start there, is there power at the switch? does the switch work?
If so then move to the regulator motor.

Same thing happened to my gfriends yaris, the drivers side window control pod (just put a small flathead screwdriver and pull up) can be easily pulled out to chec if its a loose wire. Pull it out and check that the big wiring loom is fully pushed into the reciever.

What was the cause in your case?

Disconnect the window switch. Join the 2 connections together to operate the motor. If the window works then the switch is faulty, if not then its the motor.
