Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Woefully slow gmail account.

    Is this happening to anyone else?

    It takes very long to open e-mails and the screen freezes regularly.

    Anyone else got this problem?

    I think Google said earlier on in the week that "power users" (which their guys said were people with tens of thousands of emails) were experiencing performance issues and that they were working on something to fix it but didn't know when it'd be fixed :(

    There were problems with Gmail during the week, if you want to see when problems arise use the following page

    This has been going on for longer than a week and I'm not a power user.

    Any suggestions? I'm going on erasmus soon and I'm expecting an important e-mail from a french university. I can't change the e-mail address I sent to them

    Also I cannot close the gmail page when logged on, it just refuses to close. So I have to use Ctrl-Alt-Delete.

    Is the happening on multiple computers or just the one?

    If you only hav one to fly with, do a restart, reinstall flash and java and cover all the usual troubleshooting bases.
