As per usual, fighting games boardsies in Dublin can meet up for FIGHTAN'.

XGC Liffey Street, Saturday 20. March 2010.
2pm-6pm~ish.

Cost: €5 to be put in a pot.
If anyone can spare €20/machine rental, they'll get back €15 from the pot there-and-then. (this should work)

Bring your own game & pads/sticks.

Bring your skills.

5 Centimeters Per Second is on at 3pm
eva 2.0 is on 5pm

on sunday

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is on 1pm
Blood: The Last Vampire & Mystery Film is on 3pm
Summer Wars is on 5pm

Cool man, yeah no one minds at all if you use their sticks! I'd say turnout for non tourney meets (which I'm only experienced with) is usually around 10-15 people

I really wanted to head up to Dublin for both 1.1 and 2.0, alas it was not meant to be =(

I'm not a massive anime guy but I respect it and don't dismiss it either, there's some fantastic movies and series out there. & I enjoy animation.

I've only recently enough seen that Evangelion series , whats this craic with this 2.0 thing is it another rehash of the story?

Anyway meh, I'll probably be at the casuals anyways.

Evangelion 1.11 and 2.0 and in the future 3.0 and 4.0 are a remake on the 26 ep series reanimated into 4 movies roughly 2 hrs in lenght. The 4 movie story will contain a new character, new drawings and new graphics and also a proper ending appreantly.
