Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm a girl and I have really short hair. I hate spending 40 euro every time I want to get my hair done. Does anyone know any places that would do like a trim or something for under 30 euro? I don't mind if its students really, because loads of my friends get it done by students and it always turns out ok but its still like 50. Would it be a really stupid idea to go to a barbers...because I'm pretty tempted because I like my hair fairly boyish.

50 quid for a student cut? No way. I could get a half head of highlights with a cut and blow dry for €55 by a student in a really good salon here.

Try Toni & Guy maybe? I'm not familiar with Dublin salons, but try ringing around and finding out how much student cuts are. Or find an academy.

Years ago the Regency barbers used to do women. Don't know if they still exist or they still do. (Yes, mostly women with "occidental tastes" but they never ask).

Those Polish/ Eastern European barbers/ hairdressers that are all over (Dublin) town have started advertising female cuts and are quite cheap- think they start at €15 or so. Just from rambling around town I've seen signs for Asian hairdressers that are cheaper than Irish ones. Check along Eden Quay side. There's two there that I know of!

Call the Loreal academy on Harcourt street ... I haven't been in a while (work keeps getting in the way!) anyway last time I checked cuts were free and colours are €20

I was there every three months while in college and was always happy!
