Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'll be heading to gran canaria for a week in summer, just wondering if anyone has any experience of cycling there? Namely with respect to hiring a bike, what kind of routes you did, and any other advice you may have.
    Thanks

I've ridden there a couple times. Free Motion is the best local bike hire place, mainly Cannondales, choice of triples or doubles. Phone 0034 928 777 479. Bikes are great quality & in great nick - its definitely not worth paying to bring over your own bike. Only thing I would worry about is the heat there in the summer. It will get up to almost 40 inland on the south of the island, & there's some pretty serious climbing. That said, it will sure beat the torrential rain we will no doubt be experiencing if the last few summers are anything to go by!!

It'll probably be a pretty boozie trip but it seems a shame to go and not cycle after reading things like this.
