The lineup for the UEFA Champions League quarter and semi-final draws was completed on Wednesday after holders FC Barcelona and FC Girondins de Bordeaux joined Arsenal FC, FC Bayern München, FC Internazionale Milano, Manchester United FC, Olympique Lyonnais and PFC CSKA Moskva in the last eight.

UEFA general secretary Gianni Infantino and the ambassador for the Madrid final, Emilio Butragueño, will make the draws from 12.00CET on Friday at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. The pairings will be determined by an open draw in which no teams are seeded and clubs from the same national association can be drawn against each other.
The quarter-finals are played on a home-and–away basis, with the first legs scheduled for 30 and 31 March and the return matches the following week, on 6 and 7 April. The four victorious teams will at this point know their semi-final opponents. The first legs of the last-four ties will be contested on 20 and 21 April, with the second legs on 27 April and 28 April.

An additional draw will define whether the winner of semi-final 1 or the winner of semi-final 2 will be considered, for administrative purposes, the home side in the final, which will take place on Saturday 22 May at Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu stadium (20.45CET kick-off).

I think that considering the quality of some of the teams left in the competition that it will actually be possible for someone to reach the final without playing one of the big boys.

Potentially you could have Bordeaux, Bayern, Lyon and CSKA making up two quarters and a semi and Inter, Man Utd, Barca and Arsenal making up the other two quarters and semi. If that were to happen and it is plausible then we could have a surprise finalist.

Holy crap that's early. I was hoping it was in the afternoon over there. Even with Daylight Savings we're 4hrs behind in the US so 7am!

Hoping to see Barca and Inter on opposite sides as that's the dream final for me. Bordeaux dark horses.

Just out of curiousity, what ever happened to the thread on a different boards where your man said the draw was leaked and named out the draw exactly how it was? Think it was 3 years ago? Tried looking for it yesterday and couldn't find it. Did UEFA start a cover up job?

Anyways, hopefully an Arsenal Barca Quarters Would love that.

No, Lyon and Monaco were both in the quarters in 2003/04.

If you hadnt noticed there was already a thread in use for predictions.

If I had of opened this one and people started putting there predictions in last night the mods would have deleted it most likely.

Its not that difficult really.
