Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Right I wasn't going to get into this with you again, but you are actiing like a maniac -would it be better to not have conceded he peno and to have had two players sent off???? If every decision was to the letter of the law today?

Yea, didn't think so, now accept that both teams have got off lightly and enjoy the fact that you are still at 1 - 1 at old trafford, with all signs showing that you could nick a win...

Ehm, that is not set in stone now, is it?

Oooh, we were 1 - 1 at the mighty fortress that is Old Trafford!! I should have been so grateful. The point is that if there is no penalty, there is a strong chance we are still winning the game.

Rubbish. Gerrard is not tracking back and is not doing much in terms of helping out in defence, neither is Maxi. So them coming off would not hinder the defence.

But Aquilani and Yossi are both good at working back as well as going forward, so I fail to see how them coming on would weaken Liverpool today.

With those two on the pitch, Liverpool would retain the ball much better, and be more of a threat going forward, plus Babel would be there to go at Neville with pace.

Rodriguez has been tracking back constantly today

How come you still haven't addressed why you have a problem with the penalty but not with Gerrard's role in your goal?

You dont have an answer, do you?

He's on a yellow card too isn't he? should be off - liverpool could be down to 8 men, how many till the game is abandoned

Alan Greene in Mary Whitehouse mode, this is really killing him:

United fans singing "Steve Gerrard, Gerrard...he kisses the badge on his chest" and Greene says they are singing an offensive song and he won't translate it for the listeners.

utd could get another couple here I think unless we pick up a bit. Get Maxi off as he hasn't really done too much.

Yes I saw that.... Was Rooney trying to talk to the ref after that? I thought twas Mascherano...

That's a ludicrous free kick imo. Fletcher clearly won the ball.

Nothing really between Fletcher and Lucas.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,399 ✭✭✭✭Thanx 4 The Fish

    Yeah, am already up.

How is fletcher not booked there as well, turned to kick out at Kuyt, hust could not get his legs out from under him to do it properly :)

Kuyt got a toe on the ball, Fletcher kicked out at Kuyt just as he rolls on the ground.

Its almost as lol worthy as you demanding Neville be booked for a high foot when its not a yellow card situation, it wasnt a high foot and it wasnt Neville involved in the incident!

Liverpool should be down to 7 now

why are pool fans calling for people to be taken off and not mentioning gerrard?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,316 ✭✭✭✭amacachi

Let's see, Fletcher swung at him on the way down then went for him again when he got up. How he didn't get booked is beyond me.

Jesus mate, is there a course you go to to learn how to defend the indefensible? His foot was well above the lads head who was hardly kneeling on the ground now was he?
