Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

UFC event names

    Hi guys

For the last weeks I've been completely confused. I was right in thinking that the next ufc x even is UFC 111. Also, that the next ufc event will be this weekend.

What I didn't know is that the next UFC even is not UFC 111. It's actualy UFC LIVE. WTF?!?!

Why do they have events without numbers? What is UFC fight night?
Which ones can I see on TV? Why is it so difficult to know wtf is happening? I never know which season of TUF is on tv or where in the season we are.

Surely in some magazine there must be some colour-me-in calendar that I can use to get an idea of when to watch what.

But back to my original question: Why do they call it UFC live and not UFC 110.5 or something with a number?

There are 3 types of UFC event.

The TUF tv show (not really an event).
    The Fight Nights
    and the proper UFC events

UFC 111 and 112 etc. are proper UFC events taking place on Saturday which are PPV. UFC Fight Nights are on Wednesdays and I think they're aired Live on Spike TV and not PPV. The fight night cards have smaller names and the PPVs have the bigger names generally.
Well 4 as of this weekend since it isnt a fight night. Its an On Versus event
