Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Some truly nasty ties today, reckon Pompey can win at home though, mind you Dowie will have Hull more organised I suspect. Wigan v Burnley could be the worse game of the season I'd say. DeFoe out Stoke stoical at home, hopefully no more than a draw there.

West Ham have been a bit of a bogey team for Arsenal recently. Need to put that to an end today and spank a few goals in to reduce the goal difference deficit and add a bit of pressure to United and Chelsea's already difficult Sunday games.

Today will be interesting to see if Arsenal have what it takes to go top. WH should be a given but we'll see.

you've got to love the timing of the Brown sacking/Dowie hiring.

just in time for a game against relegated Portsmouth.

Really? I think Wigan play some nice stuff.

I haven't seen Burnley under Laws but they have some decent players.

Everton should be one up but Anichebe took about 45 minutes to pull the trigger when through and was tackled.

Anichebe looks to be going off now on a stretcher. In a lot of pain after being clattered by that thug Paul Robinson.

He's like that guy you used to play against at like u16. He'd always play at the back for the other team and have a really weird nickname. His footballing ability was constrained to kicking the ball as far as he could every time he got it and he was just there to injure people.

    HT everywhere
    Stoke 0-0 Spurs
    Everton 0-0 Bolton
    Sunderland 2-0 Birmingham

Arteta with a wonderful strike from the resulting free kick.

1-0 Evertona and that should be that as Coyle took off Elmander for a defender before the kick.
