Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All

I look out the instrument cluster of my 2000 Seat Leon today. I disconnected the negative terminal of the battery before I did this.

When I reconnected everything back up the engine is cranking but not starting. Its like its out of petrol.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

disconnecting the battery probably triggered the immobiliser (if it has an immobiliser)

Don't ask me how to reset it though, I know naddin' about modern electrics in cars

Thanks for that peasant, I was suspecting the immobiliser myself, anyone advise how to reset it?

Had similar problem on the wifes clio. With her car i put the negative
back on the battery and put the positive on after 20mins.
Then put in the key and watched for all the lights on the dash to go
out. Luckly it started. Hope that can help you out.
