Today I was in the state library of Victory (swanston st/little collins st). Towards the back and up a floor there is a large wing devoted entirely to literature on chess. There are approx 5 tables where you can place chess too. Anyone interested in placing chess face to face (as opposed to online via www.redhotpawn.com)?…

Anyone interested in placing chess face to face (as opposed to online via www.redhotpawn.com)? If enough people are interested we could get a tournament going.

e.g. lets say we have 10 people - we could have a league. When people meet up at the library they could place the best of 3 games and then report the result here. If people cannot organise a meet up then the match is struck off or the person who shows up gets a walk over.

Thoughts?
