Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Flicked on to sky there to watch some wrestling and one of the wrestlers was taunting another about whether he is fully recovered from an achillies tendon tear. He then says "David Beckham has the same injury as you, his career is over".

    Ha. :) He must be very well known to the general american public to reference him. It always sounds weird to me to hear a footballers name mentioned by Americans on tv.

    Beckhams probably the only footballer most Americans would know given he's the most high profile player in America.

    I was over in Boston last summer and they all knew him he is really well known but they don't follow football just him he's all over there tabloids.
