getting on the visitors list for waterford regional hospital?

Does anyone know how to get on the magical visitors list for the hospital? Been messed about on the phone, nurse has told my mam her name is on the list for visitors but wasn't, cant seem to get on the list or talk to anyone that can get us on there. They are saying its only critical patients names on the list but its not as two people with my mam are non critical and have visitors. Sigh. It's a joke at this stage.

Maybe get your mam to kick up a bit of fuss?

It's a crazy setup but tbf the bug is fairly serious.

try ringing in the morning, you will be able to get through to the main security office. I was out there all weekend with my 1 year old daughter, she has the bug, its NOT nice! Im only waiting to get it myself

that place is the pits. seriously not one of those moronic pencil pushers actually do a job. If you ring the place you keep getting passed on until someone finally has the guts to just say no. No reason behind it mind you. Cant see how they are distinguishing one non critical patient from another at this stage. Between us someone has rang every morning and still nothing. I actually feel blacklisted at this stage.

michellie hope your daughter is better soon. Poor thing. Awful when babies are sick as they really dont know whats going on
