Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Blackburn will be without Paul Robinson after the goalkeeper tore a calf muscle against his former club Tottenham.

Jason Brown will deputise, but Ryan Nelsen, Gael Givet, Lars Jacobsen, Vince Grella and Franco Di Santo are all unavailable.

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has no fresh injury concerns.

Goalkeepers Petr Cech and Hilario are back in training and could return from respective calf and groin problems to replace Ross Turnbull.

    Blackburn

Injured/unavailable: Di Santo (ineligible under loan rules), Grella & Robinson (both calf), Givet & Jacobsen (both groin), Nelsen (knee)

    Chelsea

    Doubtful: Cech (calf), Hilario (groin)

Injured: Bosingwa (knee), A Cole (ankle), Essien (knee)

    3-1 Chelsea. ;)

    Nope. I assume it's a 4pm kickoff.

That's what I thought but my fantasy prem team is showing points for the 3 chelsea players I have and is saying that 1 minute of the game has gone by:confused:

That's a pretty attacking team from Chelsea. 2 wingers, 2 forwards. Could get overwhelmed in centre-mid.

I don't think Keith Andrews has overwhelmed anything in his life.

They always do that when the teams are announced, it won't advance past 1 until the game starts

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

So along with Essien, Cole and Bosingwa, our centre half playing out of position who is European footballs best RB this year on form prob is now injured. Why can't Deco, Ballack, Ferreira etc get these injuries.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

    Brana. :(

Comfortable first half there but we need a second.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,326 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

Easy first half for Chelsea, don't know what the Blackburn defense were thinking leaving Drogba free for that goal.

If Blackburn want to go for it they need someone up front with Kalinic, I wouldn't take Dunn off because he has the creativity. I'd expect at some point to see Andrews or Nzonzi to be replaced with Roberts with Dunn "moving" to the middle.

At least that is what i'd do, but i'd also get Diouf off and bring on Hoilett or Emerton.

Have been happy with Jones so far, he looked a good player in the cup when used this year, good to see he is holding his own as such against the likes of Chelsea.

Should be plain sailing for ye now, an early second goal will kill it, i suppose if it stays at 1 Blackburn have a chance from a set piece maybe

I wouldnt say first half was so comfortable for chelsea. we're a very exposed team due to injuries of our key players.

    Second half could be tough..

who was that that couldnt even get a corner out of that? Dunn?

Of course they are, they have lost twice at Ewood this season, and drew 3-3 with chelsea in the Carling cup here, winning on penalties.

No, we won, top of the league ;)

When you look at the way united were playing earlier ... they are a team that deserves this league ... in fairness ....

we are just an embarrasment really .....

I would rather united would win it ... i couldn't stand losing it to Arsenal
but United wouldn't hurt so much ...
