Just watched (500) Days of Summer.

I think I was meant to be happy at the ending but
I couldn't help but feel disappointed that Summer got married to someone else.

As it says though, "this is not a love story, it is a story about love"

    Yeah that's true actually.

In other news, Zooey Deschanel is amazing, especially her eyes.

    She's dreamy...

And is also fantabulous in Yes Man.

    Oh and:

Watching "Root of all Evil" (Dawkins documentary on religion) now.

I enjoyed reading the God Delusion, but so far (half an hour into the first of 2 episodes) very disappointed.
Like I'm watching it and honestly have no idea what point he's trying to make half the time, it wouldn't actually be hard to make the point the documentary is supposed to make, but he doesn't seem to do it.

Thats pretty much the fundamental problem with anything Dawkins has ever done. I think he is a bit of a cóck tbh. Gives us "atheists" a bad name..

The majority of the time he's just vague since most of his stuff is a composite of already established theories. Take the Selfish Gene for example, it's essentially Hamilton's rule on a grand scale.

Finished season two of The Wire. Brilliant show. Gonna watch season two of Dexter next, a nice break before sticking on S3 of The Wire.

I really need to start watching The Wire. Everyone who tells me about it says it's pretty much the best show ever. I've only seen the first episode. But once the exams are over...

    True.

First few episodes are like "Meh, good but could go either way".

Rest of season is like "Wow they're getting into it, this is turning out better than expected".

Last episode is all "HOLY **** DID THAT JUST HAPPEN, OMG WTF AND OTHER SUCH EXCLAMATIONS"
